Oooh the My is a good idea. Thank you.My mum brought up an issue with the word feminist too. My reasoning was that it’s what I am and it informs the way I do everything. And since I plan on focusing on women’s contribution to film it feels like I’m being dishonest not mentioning it. It’s a quandary.

I’m planning on setting up a proper film club and I need your opinion.Here’s what I’ve thought so far:We pick a genre to focus on for each quarter and then choose a movie a month (so much calmer than 52 Films, lol) in that genre to watch on our own and come back to talk about it at the end of the month. There’ll be recipes of drinks and snacks to match. Eventually I’d love to add virtual screening and a book club, but they’d have to come later.
